Part 1 topics include: Introduction and Derivative backgrounder, what we do, the uses and applications of TouchDesigner, the ARP 2600 – a role model for TouchDesigner.

Part 2 includes: the functionality of a simple TouchDesigner standalone application; TD subsystems – realtime, 3d etc.; TD influences: concepts, art, technology; producing live visuals for Rush and the Prada Tokyo Epicenter with Herzog & de Meuron.

Part 3 topics include: plastikman visuals for MUTEK 2004 and raster_noton – visuals for Alva Noto performances at Transmediale, Sonar, Mutek and Ars Electronica.

Part 5 includes the making of visuals for SND – Music Visuals derived from musicians controller change; Counter – direct Audio Visualization utilizing signal amplitude; and Ausdrücklich – "Phase Space Diagram" Audio Visualization.

Part 6 demonstrates Barbeque Crickets: a child's sound exploration.

Part 7 demonstrates "Structure" by Jarrett Smith: generated 3D geometry, UI design, interactivity.

part 8 Heckmann demonstrates TouchDesigner's open standard custom input/output devices for Arduino.

Part 9 shows the Mixxa touchscreen video mixer for drunk VJs.
